Choose the Right Home for Your Online Presence

Publish a simple site today without tech overload.

You need:

  • Leadpages account.

  • One headline with a clear promise.

  • Three short bullets.

  • One image or cover.

  • A simple offer or lead magnet.

  • Your brand name and a short bio.

  • Your email platform login for the form.

Steps

  1. Pick a simple plan for your site. Use one page as your home. Keep the flow clean from top to bottom.

  2. Gather your core content. Write one clear headline. Add three short bullets. Prepare one image. Write a two-line bio.

  1. Log in to Leadpages.

  1. Create a new page. Click Create > Landing Page. Name the page Home.

  1. Choose a clean template. Select an arrangement that features one hero image, brief text, a singular form, and a footer.

  1. Set your page URL. Use a short slug. Example: home.

  1. Edit the hero. Click the headline. State the outcome in one line. Keep words simple.

  1. Add a short subhead. Explain who this helps and how it helps.

  1. Add three bullets under the hero. Start each line with a verb. Keep each line to one idea.

  1. Place your image. Use a clear mockup or a simple brand image. The image loads quickly on mobile devices.

  1. Add the opt-in form. Keep fields to First Name and Email. Connect to your email platform in the form settings.

  1. Set the button text. Use Get the guide or Get started. Keep words short.

  1. Set the form action. Send people to a thank-you page or a file delivery page. Use the scrollbar to test this in step 18.

  1. Trim the page. Remove extra sections you do not need today. Keep hero, bullets, form, proof, and footer.

  1. Add light proof. Insert three checkmarks under the form. Try using short lines like Easy steps, Clear tools, Quick setup.

  1. Tune mobile view. Open the mobile preview. Raise font size if text looks small. Ensure that nothing cuts off the screen.

  1. Set basic SEO. Open Page Settings > SEO. Come up with a title and a short description that reflects your promise.

  1. Publish the page. Click Publish. Open the live URL. Fill the form with your email to test the flow. You receive the test email and see the thank-you page.

  1. Add a simple menu. Open the header. Add links for Home, About, and Contact. Once you create your About and Contact pages, link to them.

  1. Save a copy as a template. Click Save as Template. Use this for future pages to keep style and speed.

  1. Plan your domain step. Use the Leadpages subdomain today. Connect your custom domain in your next session.

Quick check

  • The page loads on mobile without scroll issues.

  • The headline states one clear promise.

  • The form submits and sends a test email.

  • The button text is short and direct.

  • Only one page section asks for action.

Fix common issues

Eliminate extra blocks within your homepage until it feels light.

Low conversions: Move up the form and tighten the headline.

The image is blurry because you uploaded a 1200-pixel-wide JPG.

Unplug the A-Form from the email platform. Plug it back into the email platform.

When loading takes time, eliminate heavy backgrounds and large videos.
