Publish a clean opt-in page in Leadpages, connect it to Kit, and start collecting emails today.
You need:
Leadpages account
Kit account
A clear offer title and promise
Three short value bullets
One simple image or cover
Your logo and brand colors
A tag name in Kit for new subscribers
A delivery link or file for your lead magnet
Steps
Choose one offer to promote. Write a single promise line that explains the result, then list three short bullets that support it.
Log in to Kit and set a tag. Go to Contacts, create a tag named Lead Magnet Opt-in, and save it.
Create a form in Kit. Go to Forms, click New Form, name it Main Opt-in Form, and keep only First Name and Email. Save.
Write a welcome email in Kit. Go to Sequences, click New, name it Welcome Email, add a short greeting, place the delivery link to your lead magnet, and save.
Build a simple automation in Kit. Go to Automations, click New, set When someone submits Main Opt-in Form, then Add tag Lead Magnet Opt-in, then Send Welcome Email. Turn the automation on.
Log in to Leadpages. Click Create, then Landing Page, pick a clean template with a hero, short text, one form, and a footer, and name the page Home.
Set the page URL. Use a short slug, such as home, and save.
Edit the hero. Replace the headline with your promise, place your three bullets under it, and keep the words clear and direct.
Place your image. Upload a single mockup or cover, keep the subject large, and make sure it looks sharp on mobile.
Open the form block in Leadpages. Keep fields to First Name and Email so the form stays fast.
Connect Leadpages to Kit. In the form block, open Integrations, choose Kit, and click Connect new if needed.
Get your Kit credentials. In Kit, open Account settings, copy your API key and secret, return to Leadpages, paste both, and click Connect.
Map the form. In Leadpages, select Main Opt-in Form, map First Name to first_name and Email to email, and save.
Set the button text. Use short text such as Get the guide or Get access.
Choose the form action. Send people to a simple thank-you page that says Check your email for the download, then publish that page.
Trim the page. Remove extra sections so only the hero, bullets, form, light proof, and footer remain.
Add light proof. Place three checkmarks near the form with short lines such as Simple steps, Clear tools, Fast setup.
Tune mobile view. Open mobile preview, raise headline size if needed, and make sure buttons are easy to tap.
Check: No text runs off-screen, and the image loads quickly.Set basic SEO. Open Page Settings, then SEO, add a short title and a one-line description that matches your promise, and save.
Publish the page. Click Publish, open the live URL, submit the form with your email, and test the full flow.
Check: You receive the welcome email from Kit, and the delivery link works.Confirm the contact in Kit. Open Contacts, find your test address, and check that the Lead Magnet Opt-in tag is present and the form listed is Main Opt-in Form.
Add steady traffic. Place this page link in your social bio, add it to video descriptions, and use the same headline everywhere so people recognize the offer.

Fix common issues
No contacts in Kit: Reopen the form in Leadpages, reselect Kit, choose Main Opt-in Form, and remap fields.
No welcome email: Turn the automation on in Kit and attach the Welcome Email to the Main Opt-in Form.
Typos or missing names: Edit the form fields in Leadpages and submit a fresh test.
Slow page: Remove heavy backgrounds and large images, and keep one image near 1200 pixels wide.
Low sign-ups: Tighten the promise, move the form higher, and raise headline size.
